So, Today I am 26 years old, and can now be classified as in my "late" 20's. What do I have to show for this? Well, to start with, I graduated high school...that's a plus right? I think too many people take that for granted. I went to college; although did not finish my degree. I am married to a fabulous man, who loves me and keeps me laughing. I am no longer living in my home town, (wouldn't mind to though, I love Pataskala)! I have diabetes. No kids yet, which lets face it, age doesn't decrease...and I'm not getting any younger. I have a good paying job. I have made some awesome friends along the way, from my home town, to Dayton, all the way down here to Tampa. I have two amazing dogs, kinda looney, but hey, what can I say, I choose the spaz's. My family is the best ever. I have the most amazing sisters and brothers anyone could ask for, a dad that would do anything for me, and my stepmom who has become a great friend in my life.

Well, I did it, kinda. Today at the committee meeting, I advised the committee that my last day will be December 12th. I decided that since I have committed myself so far in the Holiday Party planning, that I should finish it. Our party will be on December 12th, at which time, I will not do anything further for the committee. Hip-hip horray for me!
Matt and I are going out for dinner tonight, as we usually do on Friday nights. I believe we are going to Longhorn, yum! They have the best ever bbq chicken, to die for. Not to mention, the ranch dressing is unbelieveable. My hope is that the wait will not be too long. We go to the one in South Tampa, and let me tell you, what a strange location it is. There are nudy places all around, very very strange.

I am so stressed out. I am the chair person on a committee that plans events at my place of employment. I get so stressed out with the people on the committee. For some reason, one person finds a place or event of intrest and walah, that is it. Well, it doesn't work like that! We have a budget, we have certain critera that a venue must have. I have been doing this since October 2007, and am ready to step down, throw in the towel, aufwiedersehn!
Unfortunately it is not in me to just walk away. I know myself, and will stay until the end.

I love my family. They are my joy, my inspiration, my frustration, my pride. My family is my source of strength. I have always tried to keep an open mind with the choices individuals in my family make. I will only counsel them when either they ask for my advise, or if they are heading down a path that is so off track that it would be an injustice to them to not step in. One of my siblings is currently dating a person who is inconsiderate of others feelings on religion, politics, and other aspects of life. This person has been rude, crude, presumptuous, and greedy. This person advises my family member to not spend time with our family, and that my family member should do what ever her/his heart desires. After a weekend of this person visiting my family, and being an absolute horror, I am not sure how much longer I can keep my mouth shut. It seems my father, who has a huge heart, doesn't realize what a horror this person is, and has just let it go. I think that it may be for the love of his child, that my father says nothing; which might I add, is completely uncharacteristic of him to keep his thoughts to himself. I hate to see anyone I love being treated poorly.
